Why in the world am I talking about a BMW E46 In Dash Telemetry, Data, Music, OBDII, GPS? Because it’s Awesome, that’s why! My friend, Luke, has two BMW’s, both outfitted with a Nexus 7 tablet that is hooked in to Dash Command, and a handful of other softwares that provide a wealth of OBDII and other various telemetry information.
Luke made the Nexus 7 custom fit in his dashboard and made it look factory OEM. Eat your heart out, Tesla fans. This thing is amazing and does just about everything except pump gas. Check out the link to the video and watch as Luke discusses and demonstrates both the software and the hardware aspects of this awesome interior car mod.
Also, if you are interested in the 2 items Luke mentions in the video, check below.
I’ll be ordering the parts, and Luke and I are going to put one in my Tahoe sometime this year. Stick around, check out the YouTube channel, and be sure to subscribe because it just gets more awesome from here.
